Avio Network to acquire Jat Tehnika

Belgrade-based company Avio Network, owned by Slovenian national Aleš Luci, has signed an agreement to acquire Jat Tehnika, the TangoSix portal has reported. It comes as its current owner, Avia Prime, divests from businesses in the region. Avio Network must now obtain regulatory approvals and expects the process to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. Avio Network employs around ninety people, mostly aircraft mechanics, engineers, maintenance planners and other staff, and is headquartered at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The company began operations in 2017, initially focusing on aircraft washing and cleaning services. It has held aircraft towing and pushback licences since 2022, as well as aircraft maintenance approvals. Among its clients are Air Serbia, easyJet, Lumiwings, Leav and DAT. Jat Tehnika operates across approximately 480.000 square metres of space, including three hangars. Avia Prime recently reached an agreement to sell the Ljubljana-based Adria Tehnika to easyJet.
